ONE LIFETIME!

Yes, one lifetime. That’s what our Creator has given us in this present age. I remember when my mother spoke of an older brother’s death the day he died, saying, “They don’t come back.” She knew death was final. Oh, she believed in a resurrection alright. But she also knew that until that day arrived the dead sleep in the dust to be awakened no more until that summons from God someday to arise.

One lifetime. To some that is a few days, or a few weeks, or a few months. To countless others it is measured in years – a few or a great many. Still, it is but one lifetime. Billions have preceded us upon the world’s stage. Some played small parts, seemingly inconsequential roles. Others strode across time and left their mark in history written so large as to be remembered by the masses centuries, even millenniums after their passing.

I have no interest whatsoever in my name or face being remembered. Let them die with me for all I care. But I do want my words to be remembered. Our Creator opened my mind long ago to many truths forgotten or unknown by most. I have ever been mystified as to His blessing me with such enlightenment and understanding. He has even graciously blessed me with eighty-two plus years of life so far. My words have reached thousands around the world via my former website, my new website and my Facebook page (now removed). In reflecting upon my early decades, I marvel at what a change He has made in my life. And I trust my writings make a change for good in the lives of some of my readers. Judging from some of their comments, many have been enlightened, blessed and changed for the good, those comments coming from literally dozens and dozens of different nations around the world. I could wish for no greater legacy.

Christ’s Faithful Servant (Galatians 1:10-12),
