The premise of the following article is what Jihad Watch has been saying for over two decades.

“Why Islam and the West will never be able to truly coexist,” by  David Ben-Basat, Jerusalem Post, March 30, 2025:

Understanding Islamic ideology is essential to addressing the global processes reshaping our region and unsettling the entire world. Analyzing the implications of these developments allows Western nations to take meaningful steps against what many see as a creeping attempt at Islamic dominance across various countries.

Islamic jihad is a core concept in Islam, referring to the struggle for the faith. While the term includes spiritual and cultural dimensions, in historical and political contexts, it has often been interpreted as a military struggle aimed at expanding Islamic control. The Western world has failed to fully grasp the depth and scope of this ideology….

What sets this article apart is its appearance in a mainstream publication. Since October 7, more people have woken up about Islam, as they witnessed the “globalize the intifada” movement create chaos in their communities and on campuses. They also observed the absurd expectation of pro-Hamas activists that Israel must simply ignore Hamas and other jihad groups that surround it, and passively allow them to annihilate it “from the River to the Sea.” Israel’s retaliation against forces that seek to obliterate it was portrayed as “genocide” against Palestinians. Most people know by now that Hamas and other jihadists were (and continue) using human shields as a means to rack up the numbers of the dead, in order to paint Israel as the international law-breaking aggressor. Victimhood and propaganda are powerful strategies in the contemporary jihad war of conquest.

Islam is based on Sharia law, which is embraced by numerous prominent Islamic countries, including Iran and Saudi Arabia. Yet there are still many non-Muslims who question the inclusion of Islamic scripture in discussions about the Middle East conflicts, such as can be regularly found on Jihad Watch. They still fail to grasp the fact that jihadists place overriding importance upon their religious tenets. It is not prudent to limit one’s view of a world to what one can see through Western lenses. To do so has led to the belief that Islam is a religion of peace, with the underlying trust that all people want the same things, such as a peaceful world, unity, equal rights, human rights, prosperity, health and well-being. They don’t. There are those who strap bombs to themselves, celebrate “martyrdom,” crave and exploit disorder, and who live in caves and under harsh conditions in the way of jihad.

David Ben-Basat continues:

Islam defines two primary global divisions: Dar al-Islam and Dar al-Harb.

Dar al-Islam refers to regions governed by Islamic rule, where Sharia is enforced. In these territories, Muslims live under Islamic governance, and religious law shapes all aspects of life.

A devout Muslim is obligated to expand the domain of Dar al-Islam, aspiring to bring the entire world under Islamic control.

Conversely, Dar al-Harb, or the “House of War,” refers to territories not yet under Islamic rule. Traditional Islamic thought divides the world into these two realms, asserting that regions outside Islamic control must ultimately be absorbed into Dar al-Islam through jihad – a continuous effort to subdue non-believers and establish Islamic governance.

According to classical Islamic jurisprudence, jihad is not merely a personal duty but a collective obligation (fard kifayah) of the Muslim community, or Ummah….

It is prudent to study what is of key importance to those who are the subjects of study. Jihad groups are dedicated to establishing and upholding the all-encompassing supremacy of the Sharia, which they regard as divine and immutable law. Those Muslims who reject Sharia and jihad are not relevant when discussing the jihad threat. There are some four million peaceful Ahmadis in Pakistan alone, and they emphasize Islam as a religion of peace and compassion, despite their own persecution as apostates by mainstream Islam, but their existence does nothing to deter or change the minds of the jihadis in the same land.

The critical topic is that there have been 1,400 years of jihad by the sword; the jihad persists in its advance to this day, and the question at hand is how the West and Israel are going to stop it. Like it or not, war has long ago been declared against unbelievers, while too many of the latter are projecting their social justice culture upon Islam. “Islamic jihad is a core concept in Islam,” continues Ben-Basat, “referring to the struggle for the faith”:

Many Muslims try to explain away violent jihad, insisting that “jihad” refers to a spiritual struggle. While jihad may also incorporate a spiritual struggle, Muhammad and Islamic texts are clear on what kind of jihad constitutes the holiest in Islam.

“Let those who sell the life of this world for the next fight in the way of Allah. Whoever fights in the way of Allah, whether he is killed or victorious, on him we will bestow a great reward.” Quran 4:74

A man asks Muhammad “which of men is the best?” Muhammad replies that it is the man who is always ready for battle and flies into it “seeking death at places where it can be expected.”  Sahih Muslim 20:4655

“I would love to be martyred in Allah’s Cause and then get resurrected and then get martyred, and then get resurrected again and then get martyred and then get resurrected again and then get martyred.”   Sahih Bukhari 52:54

“Surely, the gates of Paradise are under the shadows of the swords.” Sahih Muslim 20:4681

It is violence that spread Islam throughout its history, and that violence continues to this day. David Ben-Basat continues: “As long as Palestinian children are taught to hate and are raised on martyrdom instead of science, the sword will remain necessary.” That is true, and another important question to address is this: why is the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in full support of the Palestinian ethic and ethos, and, in fact, has already embraced “Palestine” as a state, and East Jerusalem as its capital? It’s because there is nothing about the Palestinian jihad with which the OIC does not agree. Consider also the fact that President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey, a member of NATO, has stated of the Taliban: “Turkey has nothing that contradicts their beliefs.” And Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Iran blamed Israel’s “occupation” for the October 7 jihad massacre on the very day it occurred.

Ben-Basat points out another problem with Western thinking:

While the West seeks immediate solutions and quick resolutions, Islamic ideology is patient. It is willing to pursue its goals over centuries, unlike the West, which often views war as episodic and conclusive…..Israel finds itself descending a slope of false hope, where peace gestures are perceived by adversaries as surrender.

Israel has plenty of company “descending a slope of false hope,” and fanning that false hope are stealth jihad leaders who work in tandem with the violent jihadis. The OIC has been maintaining a low profile as its members have managed to squeeze money out of kafir states under the pretense of “charity” and “humanitarianism.” Willfully blind leftist leaders such as Joe Biden and others poured money into the coffers of Iran, the Taliban and now jihadist-led Syria. As Robert Spencer stated of the Taliban: “You gotta give these jihadists credit: they know how to play the idiot globalists of the West like a fiddle. The jizya is virtually certain to start flowing in abundance in response to this canny call.”

The Trump administration is in many ways realistic about what jihad is about, but critics claim it is too heavy-handed in dealing with Hamas and the Houthis, and in rejecting the absurd plan for the equally jihadist Palestinian Authority to govern Gaza. Last week, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth faced backlash after photos of him were taken during a training exercise at Pearl Harbor, revealing a tattoo on his arm of an Arabic word, kafir, which meaning unbeliever. The controversy created over this drew out the usual “Islamophobia” pushers, including Hamas supporter Nihad Awad, national executive director of CAIR, who said in a statement:

“It appears Islam lives so rent-free in Pete Hegseth’s head that he feels the need to stamp himself with tattoos declaring his opposition to Islam alongside a tattoo declaring his affinity for the failed Crusaders, who committed genocidal acts of violence against Jews, Muslims and even fellow Christians centuries ago,”

This is a well-known tactic of deception that Islamic supremacists use frequently: they malign kafirs who highlight their motives, and and even use them when it suits them. Awad celebrated October 7, yet now laments the long-ago actions of the Christians during the Crusades, just as he also remains silent about Muslims who are currently committing genocide against Christians in Africa. The mindset of the deceptive Awad et al is a glowing example of the problems between Islam and the West co-existing. Unless the West intends to be conquered by guilt-manipulation of guilt, social justice or whatever feel-good phenomenon Islamic supremacists play upon, or unless Western leaders intend to continue serving as dhimmis, doling out the jizya by the billions, Western leaders and the public alike need to wake up. The West needs to come to terms with the fact that normative Islam is not a religion of peace, that war has long been declared on the West, and that there are cogent reasons why Islam and the West will never be able to truly coexist.

The death penalty for apostasy is part of Islamic law. It’s based on the Qur’an: “They wish you would disbelieve as they disbelieved so you would be alike. So do not take from among them allies until they emigrate for the cause of Allah. But if they turn away, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them and take not from among them any ally or helper.” (Qur’an 4:89)

A hadith depicts Muhammad saying: “Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him” (Bukhari 9.84.57). The death penalty for apostasy is part of Islamic law according to all the schools of Islamic jurisprudence.

This is still the position of all the schools of Islamic jurisprudence, both Sunni and Shi’ite. Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi, the most renowned and prominent Muslim cleric in the world, has stated: “The Muslim jurists are unanimous that apostates must be punished, yet they differ as to determining the kind of punishment to be inflicted upon them. The majority of them, including the four main schools of jurisprudence (Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi’i, and Hanbali) as well as the other four schools of jurisprudence (the four Shiite schools of Az-Zaidiyyah, Al-Ithna-‘ashriyyah, Al-Ja’fariyyah, and Az-Zaheriyyah) agree that apostates must be executed.”

Qaradawi also once famously said: “If they had gotten rid of the apostasy punishment, Islam wouldn’t exist today.”

“Christian Couple, Woman They Led to Christ Poisoned to Death,” Morning Star News, March 28, 2025:

NAIROBI, Kenya (Morning Star News) – A Muslim woman in eastern Uganda this month killed a Christian couple and accidentally took her own daughter’s life with the same poison she used on those who had led her to Christ, sources said.

Doreen Nairuba died on March 16 from eating poisoned food prepared by Hanifa Hamiyat in Nabiganda town, Butaleja District, an area neighbor said. Nairuba was six months pregnant.

Hamiyat’s 18-year-old daughter, Marriam Kapisa, died the same day after unknowingly eating the food prepared for Nairuba and Nairuba’s husband, Jackson Wampula, who died from the poisoning the next day (March 17), residents said.

Nairuba had been sharing her Christian faith with Kapisa, who had finished high school exams and was awaiting results to determine entry to college. Hamiyat was angry that the couple had brought her daughter to a church service on March 17, an area source said.

A Muslim neighbor who had seen the Christian couple leaving for church with Kapisa and returning with her that afternoon informed Hamiyat, who asked him to find out from her daughter where she had been, the area source said.

At about 5:30 p.m. the neighbor intercepted Kapisa, and she told him she had attended the church service. He and Kapisa returned to her home and told her mother.

“The mother was very angry with the girl, but since it was Ramadan she did not want to cause a lot of alarm, hence she kept quiet,” said the area source, who had made a brief visit to the family that day.

During Ramadan it is common for area Muslims to share food with other families in the evening to break the daily fast, and at 7 p.m. Hamiyat prepared a meal and sent Kapisa to share it with the Christian couple, the source said.

“The daughter didn’t know that her mother had put some poison in the food,” he said. “When the daughter reached Doreen’s home, the three participated in sharing of the food, and immediately [afterward], she left.”

At home, Kapisa complained of stomach pain and was soon vomiting and wailing, the source said.

“The mother asked what could be the problem, and why had she delayed? The girl answered that she shared in eating the food with Doreen’s family, and she was in deep pain. Upon hearing that, Hamiyat shouted in a loud voice, “Allah Karim [Generous Allah], I have killed myself,” said the source, who visited the family upon hearing their distress.

Kapisa was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she died, he said.

After about an hour, Nairuba and her husband started suffering stomach pain and diarrhea and made an emergency call to another neighbor.

“When I arrived at the house the two were in bad state, and I took them to a nearby clinic where they were given first aid before they were referred to the main hospital,” said the neighbor, whose name is also withheld for security reasons.

Nairuba died before reaching the hospital, and Wampula died the next day at the hospital, the neighbor said.

In tests carried out on samples of remaining food, doctors found it contained a poisonous drug that caused the death of the couple and Kapisa, said the neighbor.

Local leaders detained and questioned Hamiyat, and she confessed to having poisoned the food, the neighbor said.

“I never intended to kill my daughter, but my plan was to kill the neighbors because of taking my daughter to church during this holy month of Ramadan,” she said, according to the source. “Our imam had assured us that when you kill a kafir [infidel], Allah rewards one with a Jannah [paradise] called Firdausi, so I wanted to get that Jannah.”…

In Isaiah, chapter one, verse 18, God says, “‘Come now, and let us reason together’, says the Lord.” Our Creator is a supernatural, superhuman, spirit being of great reason and logical thought. Through His prophet Jeremiah, He says, “Call unto me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you know not of” (See Jeremiah 33:3). It is impossible for God to lie when making a promise. But we must believe Him, not men. The apostle Paul urged, “Let God be true, but every man a liar.” (See Romans 3:4). Believe what God says in His Word over any human being who says something different. If a thousand preachers say one thing, and God says something else – believe God every time.

Think for a moment: If God will give tremendous far reaching knowledge and understanding to a pagan, idol-worshipping king who lived and died thousands of years ago, who would never live to see the fulfillment of the prophetic revelation he was given, what manner of revelation and knowledge do you think He will afford those who worship Him and have an intense relationship with Him through His Son Jesus Christ? For it IS to us He cries out, “Come now, and let us reason together.” It is to US He promises, “Call unto me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things which you know not of.” And, remember, Daniel told Nebuchadnezzar that God was revealing to him “what shall be in the latter days!” Well, what about those of us who actually live in these latter days. If God will tell a long dead pagan what will come to pass in the latter days, doesn’t common sense alone tell you that God will certainly give similar, if not greater, revelation to His faithful sons and daughters who actually live their lifetimes in those latter days??!!!

Reader, let me apprise you of something: God is about as mad right now as God can get. And He can get awfully mad. (Remember He drowned every man, woman, boy and girl on earth save for eight people in the days of a man called Noah. That is NOT a fairy tale). When Daniel says God changes the times and the seasons, removing one world leader and setting up another, He is not speaking of the seasons of the year. He is speaking of the times and seasons of a nation’s prominence and superiority. He is speaking of the times and seasons of when a nation will be blessed with a great and benevolent leader or cursed with a leader that brings disaster and ruin to the nation he leads. Let me assure you in the clearest most unmistakable language possible: the United States of America is teetering on the very brink of ruin and disaster. Our days of prestige and prosperity are numbered. It is as though we were sailing aboard the Titanic, and I fear we may have already struck the iceberg.

“In God We Trust!” What a joke. Our legislatures approve and legalize transgenderism, same-sex marriage, homosexuality, and lesbianism. State after state re-enacts the legalization of abortion after the federal government sets aside Roe vs. Wade. The Ten Commandments are removed from court houses and public buildings. And yet on every penny, every dollar bill, we print the words “In God We Trust!” What a joke. The nation that once saved the world now needs saving herself!

God says to those who preach error, because you have rejected knowledge, God says, “I will also reject you!” America, because you have rejected the commands and teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ, crying out loudly by your actions and ways, “We will not have this Man to rule over us,” God says, “Prepare to meet your God!” Save this tiny epistle. Pull it out from your desk, your cupboard, or dresser a year or two hence and read it again. Compare the year you do that with the year 2018 (the year I write these words) – and weep.

“Many corrupt the Word of God!” That’s what an apostle wrote. (See 2 Corinthians 2:17).   And he would later write, “Evil men and seducers shall grow worse and worse, deceiving (others), and being deceived (themselves).” (See 2 Timothy 3:13).  Those who corrupt the Word of God are those who handle the Word of God, and those who handle the Word of God are preachers, pastors, ministers. Mechanics don’t corrupt the Word of God. Physicians don’t corrupt the Word of God. Farmers don’t corrupt the Word of God. No, it is those who handle the Word of God, usually doing so for a living – preachers.

Paul didn’t say they do this wittingly, knowingly, maliciously. They are deceived and actually think that what they say the Word of God says is what it does say. Paul says their minds have been blinded by the god of this world – Satan. No wonder James cautioned that not many should aspire to become preachers or teachers of the Word of God. (See James 3:1).

Every Bible college and seminary ought to have the words of James 3:1 carved in stone above the main entrance door of that educational institution.  “My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.”

Jesus warned that at the judgment many preachers would be brought before Him to be judged harshly and without mercy. (See Matthew 7:21-23). And He gave this warning in His very first recorded sermon! He didn’t waste any time issuing this grave warning. In fact, He ended His sermon on that note! He knew that someday on this earth there would be tens of thousands of preachers speaking totally opposite doctrines, some becoming multi-millionaires as a result of their lucrative ministries.

I feel badly for a lot of preachers. I really do. Many of them mean well. They are basically good men, faithful husbands, good providers for their families. But many of them are grossly deceived and feeding their congregations horrible error and spiritual poison.

But the very last words of His first sermon? Jesus said that if one heard His teaching and then did not obey what He taught that one was a fool. I would suggest that my readers turn to Matthew chapters 5 through 7 and read that sermon – every word of it. And God have mercy on you if you do not begin obeying what you read therein.

In Psalm 111, verses 7 and 8, it says: “ALL His commandments are sure. THEY STAND FAST FOR EVER AND EVER.” And then in the 10th verse of that Psalm, it says: “A good understanding have all they that do His commandments.”

I believe that goes a long way in explaining why Sunday observing assemblies have so much error in the doctrines they believe and teach! Having tossed out one of God’s eternal commandments, they do not have a good understanding of God’s Word. It’s that simple.

Psalm 119:142 says “Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness.” And the 172nd verse of that same Psalm says, “ALL thy commandments are righteousness.” All ten, not nine!

There’s not one verse anywhere in the New Testament that says the fourth commandment was changed, altered, substituted, abolished or nullified – NOT ONE VERSE!

Some of the most scathing words of denunciation spoken by Jesus Christ were spoken to a group of religious men who had set aside one of the Ten Commandments: “Well has Isaiah prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, ‘This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men,’ for laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men…..And He said unto them, ‘Full well you reject the commandment of God that you may keep your own tradition!'” (See Mark 7:6-9).

Sunday worship is a tradition of men based upon a faulty interpretation of Acts 20, Romans 14, I Corinthians 16 Colossians 2 and a couple of other texts. It’s a Catch 22 with them. Spurning God’s eternal seventh day sabbath, they have no correct understanding of the scriptures as a whole. They think the scriptures themselves set aside the fourth commandment, or change it drastically, when such is not the case at all!

They think, “All these great preachers of the present and past can’t be wrong. If they say the fourth commandment has been changed, then it must have been changed!” Yes, and if they say one’s “soul” flits off to heaven or hell the moment one dies, that must be true, too. And if they say, “once saved, always saved,” that must be true, too.

Don’t limit Satan’s deceptive powers, friend. It is one of the worst mistakes you’ll ever make in this life!

In the very closing chapter of the Bible, we read these words: “Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city (of God)” (See Revelation 22:14).  Are you sure you will have the right to reach forth your hand, take of the fruit of the tree of life, and eat?  Something to think about, folks.

The Nevada State Assembly’s Committee on Government Affairs recently met to deliberate on one of the burning questions of our age: whether to establish a Muslim Heritage Month in the state, with July being the lucky month to get the honor. Now, if you didn’t realize that Nevada had any Muslim heritage to celebrate, you’re not alone. Anyone inside Nevada or outside of it would be hard-pressed to name a single prominent Muslim who hails from Nevada, or point to any significant Muslim heritage in the state. So what’s going on here?

As it turns out, Muslim Heritage Month in Nevada and the states that have already adopted it, which include Connecticut, Michigan, New Jersey, and Utah already have Muslim Heritage Month, established the month not because they really have any Muslim heritage to recognize, but in order to further the left’s DEI agenda. In a recent article about a hearing on the state assembly bill AB278, which would establish the month, Citizen Portal made that clear, saying that Nevada lawmakers who support the measure “highlighted the bill’s potential to foster inclusivity and celebrate the contributions of Muslim Americans to the state and the nation.”

You might be wondering exactly what contributions Muslim Americans have made to Nevada and the nation, and yet no one seems interested in filling in that part of the story. Citizen Portal noted that one “Austin Daly, representing the University of Nevada, Reno,” spoke in support of the bill, “stressing the need to honor the historical contributions of Muslim Americans to the local community.” Unfortunately, Citizen Portal didn’t deem it necessary to tell us whether or not the learned Daly actually enumerated some of those historical contributions. Was there a hero of World War I or World War II or Korea or Vietnam or any other war who hailed from Nevada and proclaimed his Islamic faith? Was there a prominent Muslim businessman or accomplished Muslim athlete who called Nevada home? Was there a notable Muslim governor of Nevada? A congressman? A senator?

In reality, there are only 7,400 Muslims in Nevada, and that is less than half of one percent of the state’s population. The real purpose of Muslim Heritage Month is that it “represents a low-cost opportunity to showcase the progressive values of Nevadans, illustrating how the state embraces various nationalities, ethnicities, and religions.” So it’s not really about Muslims at all. It’s an opportunity for the left to show its commitment to “diversity,” and to force everyone else to accept it as well.

It’s not a protest movement; It’s an invading enemy.

Sen. Chuck Schumer, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Sen. Bernie Sanders, Sen. Tim Kaine, Sen. Chris Van Hollen, Sen. Peter Welch, Sen Dick Durbin, Sen. Tammy Baldwin, and 103 House Democrats rallied in support of Mahmoud Khalil: an organizer in a Columbia University terrorist movement that called for “Death to America” and “the total eradication of Western civilization”

Half the House Democrat delegation, the party’s Senate minority leader, its former VP nominee in 2016, and two of its top 3 presidential candidates in 2020 now support the “rights” of this alien enemy to pursue its agendas of destroying Israel and exterminating its Jews, and destroying its indispensable ally America along with the rest of the civilized world.

That’s why David Horowitz’s message was that, “Mahmoud Khalil and his followers are self-declared enemies of America and should be treated as such.” And that’s also the message of the David Horowitz Freedom Center which has always been clear about who the enemy is.

That includes not just the Jihadist allies who terrorized Columbia, scrawling swastikas on its walls, taking janitors hostage and demanding the destruction of America and Israel, but all of their supporters from the street level to the highest levels of political power in Washington D.C.

“When the enemy is US imperialism, then absolutely anyone the US calls an enemy is my friend,” Momodou Taal, the latest foreign student to be targeted for deportation and defended by leftists, declared. That’s a coalition of America’s enemies that potentially includes China, Iran, Russia, Al Qaeda, ISIS, the American Left, and the top leadership of the Democrat Party.

‘Death to America’ is not just a protest slogan and the support of it by top Democrat leaders shows how the radicals who launched their 50-year assault on it succeeded beyond their wildest dreams. From the days of Jane Fonda and Tom Hayden, the Weathermen and their bombs, what people used to call the ‘lunatic left’ is now in command and control of the Democrats.

Like Khalil, and Momodou Taal, who had urged “the end of the US empire in our lifetime insha’Allah” (Allah willing) and raved that “my hatred for US imperialism and the global system it reproduces knows no bounds,” the radical rioters of the sixties were defended and dismissed as “protesters”. But they were not just protesters. And we were wrong not to take them seriously.

They wanted to destroy America. And they still do.

Protesters want political change within a country. Its enemies want to destroy it. “Death to America” and “the total eradication of Western civilization” are not calls for change. These enemies within on our college campuses and in our streets call for “armed resistance” by which they mean terrorism, war, and the extermination of anyone who dares to stand in their way.

Khalil, Taal and other enemies being deported by Trump openly tell us who they are. They’re at war with us and their message is that the war can only end in our extermination: the “total eradication of western civilization” and “the complete eradication of Zionism.”

Why does the American Left stand with them? Because it wants the same exact thing.

The movements that exploded in the sixties and today are as serious about destroying America as Iran and Al Qaeda. They are not part of our country, society or civilization. Either we win the war against them or we will find out just how serious their call of “Death to America” is.

It’s appropriate that Trump invoked the Alien and Sedition Acts since this war has been going on since the very beginning. The long march of the Left through our institutions climaxed in their takeover of the finest university system in the history of mankind and of the Democrat Party.

Just as the Weathermen went from planting bombs to taking over academia, Hamas in America is replicating the same process, the enemy without collaborating with the enemies within, using our academic institutions as a launching pad for a war of extermination against America and Israel, against western civilization, Christians and Jews, that will only end in our defeat.

Or their destruction.

The Muslim Brotherhood, the parent organization of Hamas, replicated the SDS campus strategy using its Students for Justice in Palestine and Muslim Students Association chapters in colleges across the country to build an army of radical foot soldiers to turn what started as an external attack on February 93 and September 11 into a civil war to destroy us from the inside.

And now, for the first time, America is fighting back against the enemy within.

The Trump administration’s move to deport the foreign campus radicals fighting against us and the top echelons of the Democrat Party then rising to their defense shows what the stakes are.

The 50-year struggle to take over the Democrat Party has made it into an enemy of America.

Top Democrats side with Hamas supporters who call for “Death to America” and the destruction of western civilization because that’s not just the Hamas, Al Qaeda and ISIS agenda, it’s their agenda too. After a 50-year struggle, they are showing Americans who they really are.

Momodou Taal, one of the foreign Muslim terrorist supporters that the Trump administration wants to deport, declared that “absolutely anyone the US calls an enemy is my friend.”

That’s not just his motto. It’s the motto of the Left. And when the Left took over the Democrats, it became their motto too. That’s why they support Taal, Khalil and every campus jihadist.

And every other enemy, too.

At its greatest extent, the ancient Greek Empire under Alexander the Great (circa 300 B.C.) included the modern-day territories of Iran, Turkey, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, northern Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Israel, Lebanon and Syria, as well as other neighboring territories. (You might notice that all of the nations named above are totally, or almost totally Muslim save for the one nation of Israel, and even modern Israel is 17.7% Muslim, making them the largest minority group in Israel. Keep that in mind as you read what follows:

I now begin quoting solely from the prophetic Book of Daniel: “He (God) gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding. He reveals deep and secret things” (Daniel 2:21-22). “There is a God in heaven who reveals secrets, and He has made known…what will be in the latter days (our time and beyond)” (verse 28, Daniel 2). “The Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever He chooses” (Daniel 4:25). “But the saints of the Most High shall receive the kingdom, and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever” (Daniel 7:18).

In the 2nd chapter of Daniel, King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon had a dream in which he saw “a great image.” This image took the form of a man, but its form was awesome. Daniel, in giving the interpretation of what the image signified told King Nebuchadnezzar that “after you shall arise another kingdom (the Medo-Persian Empire) inferior to yours, then another, a third kingdom of bronze, WHICH SHALL RULE OVER ALL THE EARTH.” (See verse 39). Daniel then mentions a fourth, and final, kingdom, an empire most all Bible scholars agree is the Roman Empire. But note well, it is THE THIRD KINGDOM OR EMPIRE that is prophesied to RULE OVER ALL THE EARTH. The third empire, the empire that followed the Medo-Persian Empire and preceded the Roman Empire was the Greek Empire. The ancient Greek Empire did NOT rule over all the earth THEN, but scripture MUST be fulfilled!

Do not confuse the ancient Greek Empire with the modern nation of Greece. The ancient Greek Empire was comprised of nations that today are either wholly or partially Muslim. It is Islam that is prophesied to yet rule over ALL the earth, yes, the entire world. It probably won’t occur in your lifetime, nor in the lifetime of the next generation, but, if God’s Word is true, it will come to pass, and woe be to that generation that lives to see it happen for their hearts will fail them for fear in seeing what is coming on this earth.

Oh, one other thing. Don’t look for Jesus Christ to return soon or even in your own lifetime. Contrary to popular religious opinion, much prophecy must yet be fulfilled before He can return.

“Now we beseech you, brethren, by (or concerning) the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto Him (our “rapture”) that you be not soon shaken in mind (mentally distressed), or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us (apostles), as that day of Christ is at hand. LET NO MAN DECEIVE YOU BY ANY MEANS, for that day shall not come except 1) there coming a falling away first (from Christianity to Islam), and 2) that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped, so that he as God SITS IN THE TEMPLE OF GOD, showing himself that HE is God” (See 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4).

God’s temple hasn’t even been rebuilt yet, friend. There must first be a rebuilt temple in Jerusalem for this world accepted deceiver to sit in before Jesus can return. That’s WHY no one knows the day or hour of Christ’s return as no one knows WHEN that temple will be rebuilt. But when that event occurs, the Christians alive on the earth at THAT time will know “His coming is nigh, even at the doors.”   And Zechariah 14, a prophetic chapter that speaks of our Lord’s return, specifically mentions that the temple has been rebuilt and is standing in Jerusalem at that time.  (See Zechariah 14:4, 20-21).

MATTHEW 27:50-53 (First posted Thurs., April 5, 2018)

“And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice and yielded up his spirit. And behold, the curtain of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom. And the earth shook, and the rocks were split. The tombs also were opened. And many of the bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised, and coming out of the tombs after his resurrection they went into the holy city and appeared to many.” (ESV)

Only Matthew includes the startling bit of information recorded in Matthew 27, verses 5o and 53. None of the other gospel writers make mention of this phenomenon. Matthew doesn’t say these folks came out of the graves BEFORE Christ’s resurrection. He says they came out of their graves AFTER His resurrection. Nor does the passage say they came out in spirit bodies (See I Corinthians 15:35-44), but simply “many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised.” After coming out of their graves AFTER His (Christ’s) resurrection, they “went into the holy city, and appeared to many.”

Reading from the New King James Version: “Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom, and the earth quaked, AND THE ROCKS WERE SPLIT.” What rocks? The rocks customarily rolled in front of the tombs! Since those resurrected were not resurrected in their immortal spirit bodies whereby they could have passed through the rocks blocking their tombs, God split the rocks so that these resurrected saints could come out of their tombs. These would have had to have been men and women who had died recently as pictures, photos, paintings, etc. of people were forbidden by Jewish custom. Had they been folks who had died centuries before no one would have recognized them. Living people who knew what these recent dead looked like upon seeing them would have been convinced they had arisen from the dead.

And what does the 52nd verse say immediately after the 51st verse reveals that “the rocks were split?” “And the tombs also were opened…” Yes, they were opened by the splitting of the rocks blocking the entrance to these tombs. God was bending over backwards, you might say, to give undeniable proof of Jesus’ resurrection and proof He was indeed the promised Messiah. Following Christ’s resurrection these resurrected saints went in to Jerusalem and appeared to many who might have doubted Christ’s resurrection. Doubters now had more indisputable proof that Jesus had come back from the dead.

Matthew is then silent about what subsequently occurred after their resurrection. Did they, like Lazarus, then live on for some amount of time to die again some time later? Since no indication is given that they were resurrected in glorified, eternal bodies, they obviously did die again some time later. Hope this helps the reader’s understanding of this perplexing passage of scripture.
